PU coated fabric is polyurethane coating. After coating, the fabric feels full, elastic and has a filmy surface.

As we all know, PU coated fabrics and PVC coated fabrics are very popular. So, what is the difference between PU coating and PVC coating? The difference between the two lies in the manufacturing process. Let's look at the specific differences between the two processes.

Process of PVC coated fabric: In the manufacturing process of PVC coated fabric, the plastic particles must be hot melted and stirred into a paste, and then evenly coated on the T/C knitted fabric base according to the specified thickness. Then, it enters the foaming furnace for foaming, so that it has the softness that can adapt to the production of various products and different requirements, and the surface treatment is performed at the same time as the furnace is released.

The process of PU coated fabric: The manufacturing process is more complicated than that of PVC coated fabric. Since the PU base fabric is a canvas PU material with good tensile strength, in addition to being coated on the top of the base fabric, the base fabric can also be included in the middle, so that the presence of the base fabric cannot be observed. The physical properties of PU coated fabrics are better than those of PVC leather. They are resistant to tortuosity, softness, tensile strength and breathability.

The pattern of PVC coated fabric is formed by hot pressing with steel pattern rollers, while the pattern of PU leather is pressed on the surface of semi-finished leather with a pattern paper, and then the paper leather is separated after cooling down. , Do surface treatment.
